I had a lovely evening out at Royal Windsor race course with Emma today. So that's one evening without card making but I enjoyed watching the horses thunder down the tracks. I noticed, too, how wonderfully colourful the jockeys' outfit were. Time to incorporate those in my cards?

I've included a card which I made several years ago when I started making cards under the guidance of Henriette Gabriels. She taught me iris folding. The technique involves lots of colour combining and that's the best bit of cardmaking for me.

The colours used on this cards were fiery shades of orange and the corners are punched. Thank you Henriette for sharing with me what is to become a passionate addiction.
